Re: [Avid-L2] Symph upgrade came!

So, Dave, other than Hand Tool, what would those functions be? I've been on FCP since 2002 and I NEVER once used the Hand tool. What's your list?

I agree that it would be nice to be able to map things to keys other than standard keys and shift (FCP allows mapping to command, option and control as well, I think, though, you'd have to be VERY careful with mapping to some of those). The only real workaround to this limitation is that Avid allows you to have as many "keyboards" as you want and these keyboards can be assigned to switch based on the mode or workspace that you're using, so if you need more keys than standard and shifted, that could be a solution.
