System Information, Highlight "Software" and it will tell you in the right pane.

My understanding is the mac knows when to go into 64 bit based on the program. The fact that it is running symphony soft 6.0.1.1 seems to indicate that. I'm checking with Bill Ferster for more suggestions. Where in system profiler is the boot kernel displayed? I looked but didn't see it after checking a few spots.
