Interesting. I've seen this behavior going all the way back to MC
V4/Leopard MBP (with no AMA).

Wireless on = Boot
Wireless off = Crash
Ethernet Only = Crash
Wireless and Ethernet = Boot

App reports "Segmentation Fault" or "BUS error", plus MC "Window not
Created" dialog box.

Greg needed BOTH NICs active. Mine just the wireless.

Makes me wonder what would happen on Macpro if you connected the network
cable to a different ENET port each time.
