Open the console in Avid (cmd+6) and type "alldrives" without the quotes. Hit enter. Avid will now see network drives as available media drives. Should work.

Subject: [Avid-L2] Apple Time Capsule with Media Composer 5...
Hi Guys, I'm having some difficulties to use my time capsule with media
composer. Avid don't read it as a Media Drive. It's connected via ethernet
cable and appears as media drive on Snow Leopard.
Anyone knows how to make Media Composer read it properly?
Thanks,
Marcelo
