I agree. Having recently upgraded on OS 10.5 system to os 10.6.8. Sapphire 2 won't install on 10.6.x but if it's already installed and you upgrade the system is still works. Unfortunately with software activation on sapphire you have to uninstall the program so even though sapphire 2 works fine in os 10.6.8 you can't reinstall it without upgrading the sapphire to at least 3. Don't know if you can even get sapphire 3 anymore but that's what I had to do for my home system.
