[Avid-L2] Re: Avid 6 can't start when network is connected?

 

Here's a quick work around.

Upon start up, when the initialization process indicates "waiting for AMA", simply unplug the ethernet cable for a few seconds. Plug it in again, and the init process continues to completion.

This "Hang up" is annoying, especially for first time users who've not seen it. THey start troubleshooting all kinds of things that aren't broken. This is a big time waster!
