[Avid-L2] Can I have two versions of Media Composer?

 

Hello,

I am finishing up a long project on one system, using MC 5.5 and I want
to upgrade to the version 6 license I bought months ago. After I upgrade
the OS from Windows XP to Windows 7, can I install both 5.5 (licensed
with a dongle) and version 6 (which must use the new license scheme)? I
have an analog Mojo, which I know won't work in MC 6, but I'd like to
hedge my bets and keep the Mojo / 5.5 setup working just enough to do an
analog capture or output. Is this possible?

My understanding is that most 32-bit programs will operate with a 64 bit
OS. If not, does anybody have a dual boot (XP / Win 7) system? Is that
even possible?
