We aren't having that exact problem but yeah we've definitely ran into AMA
problems. We ended up laying off all of our AMA clips (before transcode)
to XD with the U1/U2 and digitizing them back in at 15:1 with the F1600's.
We are having to overcut everything that the editors give us. They haven't
been using that many of the AMA clips, but we were definitely screwed on
our first Uprez.
The after transcode, the AMA clips actually had minutes cut off from them,
but only in the video. But the amount of video that was missing from each
clip would be random for every transcode that you would do... weird shit.
