That's a (historical) term that could be used to describe the English, who
definitely don't write numerical dates in "month-day-year" date format.
(Day-month-year is standard in all four countries in the UK.)

(Apparently, Belize is the only country outside of the US to use
month-first exclusively, and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't describe
themselves as Anglo-Saxon.)
