The most budget-friendly solution is using RSYNC, which is built into OSX. Add a vendor-specific driver and you're in business for the cost of a drive alone($1.7-2K). I've got some workflow specifics and suggestion originally from the StorageDNA blog and other sources...

We just started using this and have no problems thus far. We are, however, using BRU PE as the backup software. They have a free trial if you want to check it out.
