This is easier now that Vari-Fi plugin can be used. If you have it, just
cut the audio clip at the start of the slow down. Then apply vari-fi as an
audiosuite plugin, and set slow-down parameters from that. Render and done.

I have a PT coinstall on my system, so I don't know if Vari-Fi is installed
automatically with MC or with PT. But that's the plug that you want...
