Re: [Avid-L2] DVD workflow

CCE is actually a full fledged PC encoder. The Mac version is just a
plugin for Compressor. If you go on the Doom9 forums (the best to learn
about anything encoding), you'll probably see some people compare the
quality off CCE to HCenc. You can check it out here (it's free):
