Re: [Avid-L2] data backup service cost?

We do this for some clients and an occasional 'Digital Service Station' job, but to LTO4 (using BRU PE.) Haven't added LTO5 yet as there hasn't been sufficient call for it.

Typically a negotiated rate - based more on turn around time and/or frequency as well as volume. Since it's 75% unattended, turn around requirements become a big factor in bidding - longer turn around lower price, obviously. I can have my GM (the guy who usually writes the bids and can give you a better idea of price) email you directly if you like.

There's a minimum, but off the top of my head I'm thinking it's around 100-$150 per 800 gig tape, stock included. There is a guy on Reduser who advertises the service.
