[Avid-L2] Re: EBU R128 as plugin?

There is a plugin, an RTAS plugin for both MC and Protools.
It's called 'VisLMH' and it's from NUGEN Audio.
It's a nice tool and works well.

Doesn't make any sense for Avid to try and include this. The specs are changing and evolving and it's far more sensible to have a plugin you can update as required than need Avid to release an updated version of MC.
I'd rather Avid concentrated on the editing tool and it's features and leave others to supply the plugins. Also the cost of the tool goes up if you start to include options that some users will never need.

I find it strange that Avid, a broadcast utility, has not already integrated this sort of thing already. I am really looking for the Grimm LevelView so I can prove that all is fine.
