[Avid-L2] Segmentation fault in thread "Adopted Thread", at address 0x0

 

I have been googling away trying to get to the bottom of a consistent bug (?) I'm encountering in MC 6.01 when trying to export a QT. (Mac Pro, 8 core, OS 10.7.2, Kona LHi) See subject line.

After I see this one I get another that says "Exception: Movie export from procedures FAILED!, errcode:4294967247" Then my sequence won't play with an "AMPI subsystem error" message. It's only 3 minutes long, BTW.

Corrupt clip, right? I don't think so. I uninstalled and reinstalled MC and everything worked fine for an hour. Now I'm getting these persistent errors again and can't export.

After it happens, when I try to reboot the application, I can't get MC to close completely. The project and bins save fine, but the app hangs and I end having to force quit.

Any ideas welcome, and thanks in advance to the L.
