[Avid-L2] Re: workflow for offline red

 

I've been advised in the past to add a tape name to ama clips to facilitate relinking later. Giving the ama'd clips the same name as the bin they are in seems to work well for us in the few cases we've dealt with ama. With Red is this still an advisable step? Are there any drawbacks to this approach?
