[Avid-L2] And the Network Note of the Day, "22:47 – de-whoosh"

Yes the network folks are saving the show one whoosh at a time.  Or should I say on less whoosh at a time.  ;-)  Maybe it's just my state of exhaustion but when I was a post super on network shows we got notes during the offline phase and rarely if ever did we get notes on the mix or color correction after we delivered the show.  Is it just that everybody thinks it's all just like changing the font on their word processor now?  I thought the whole point was to hire a production company/producer whom you trust to deliver a quality product and left it to them to deal with the technical side of controlling the look and sound of the show.  Did Arron Spelling ever get network notes that Gopher's shirt color looked different in two different scenes?  Or did the ABC brass ever comment on Lauren Tewes' nose looking too red in certain scenes.  Well I guess that didn't have anything to do with the colorist but I bet he didn't have a myriad of opinions on
the technical side of the show.  Maybe I'm wrong but it feels different now.  Not a bad thing but just one more voice from afar in the edit bay.
