You said it Terry, "historically" there hasn't been any R&D devoted to Symphony. So Avid should make a decision - make it better, or ditch it, and fold the existing color functionality into MC. Nothing else makes sense.

Age old argument, but I have to disagree.

If they can sell Symphony at a higher price, and therefore dedicate more R&D
bucks to feature development for it, then that would be great. Unfortunately,
that has not been what Avid has done historically. :-(
