Re: [Avid-L2] Batch add audio track to QTs?

Few days ago i got someone in my mailbox asking me to make something for
exactly this...
However, it does exist already in my existing products.
Easiest is to use QTchange on the originals and export the sound to BWF.
Since you're on Avid as well, you can line up your clips there.
For FCP, i've also got an application called "BWF_QT merge"
Guess what that does :-)

Subject: [Avid-L2] Batch add audio track to QTs?

Ok, I got some Alexa footage, LogC. Used Resolve to generate a new set of
QTs that have a dailies LUT burned in. But Resolve doesn't seem to pass the
audio, so I have a bunch of QTs now that look good, but have no audio on
them. So I went back to the camera source QTs and ran those through
Compressor and now have a set of AIFFs. So I have a set of QTs with no
audio and a set of AIFFs that have no picture and I want to combine them.
Basically the QT Pro process of copying the audio and doing pasting it into
the video QT and then saving new. But I have over 200 of these to do and
was wondering if there was a batch way to do it. All the audio should be
the correct length for the picture, so no special syncing should need to be
done.

Does anyone know of a workflow or piece of software that will handle this?

Thank you,
Jay
