If it is, i can work easilly around it.
(same goes for BM recorders, and the (my taste) Sound Devices Pix recorder.
(already made that...)
No idea why they use a QT wrapper for Avid codecs, as Avid seems no friends
with QT...
But the conversion is fast and easy (but of course requires two copies of
the entire file, so speed depends on your drives...)
