[Avid-L2] Re: Panny problems

I get a lot of Panny DVCPro SD footage and it all goes well over 100 percent. Usually topping out at 800ish millivolts so that's illegal right? It's usually not clipped at 100 percent by a standard tape ingest so I can bring it down to legal. I don't think I've ever seen a camera original come in that doesn't set off my Tek 7020 alarms in some manner until I've color corrected. Now effort is not a big part of the shows production side when it comes to making illegal colors so I don't think they have gone out of their way. They are way too busy just running around trying to follow the reality cast.
