[Avid-L2] New mac laptop (thunderbolt) and Avid video out?

 

Hi all,

Trying to figure this hardware riddle out...
We've got a new Mac laptop with thunderbolt, and SDXC card (rather than PCIe)
Software is MC 5.5

Are there any options for getting video out on to a video monitor via HDMI?

I could be reading it wrong - but it seems like Matrox MXO2 mini wants to connect via PCI-e and won't work with this hardware.
Am I reading that right?
