I say:
I'd be wary of this product. I don't know if this is the one or not
but there is an app that claims to play Blu-ray disks on Macs but it's
claims are exaggerated. I've heard that the shady BD player (which
may NOT be this one) just takes your money but doesn't work, or works
very poorly.
However, I do know that Toast 11 comes with a player that DOES work
with Blu-ray disks. It's called "Toast Video Player" and is installed
as part of Toast's HD plugin ($20 or included with ToastPro). The
tricky part is that Toast Video Player doesn't play the disk itself.
It plays the content within the "Streams" folder on the disk, which is
the program content of the Blu-ray disk. So you have to navigate to
it in order to play it. But I can assure you that it does work very
well.
BTW, VLC can play Blu-ray content in a similar manner. Toast Video
Player just provides a better, more stable playback.
