Yes, and how happy are shows like Seinfeld, Friends, and Star Trek (TOS and
TNG so far) that shot on film and are now rolling out beautiful HD
remasters from new film scans to syndication and Blu-ray (in stark contrast
to their previous efforts in SD). So far, history and economics have proven
winners of folks who shot film (before the advent of HD digital). I am sure
this will continue to the benefit of viewers (like me).
