Yes I agree a Database Rebuilder App would be very useful. We sell a lot of MOG Speedrail SDI Recorders and in Unity/ISIS environment without Interplay getting the media it records to be seen by the Avid systems is a PITA!

I've always wanted a database rebuilder as well. Especially in a Unity-type environment it would be very helpful.
There are at least some third-parties with the technology to do it I think.
Our EditShare GeeVS (direct-to-disk recorder) builds media databases for the footage it records (interestingly, only the .pmr it seems).
