Re: [Avid-L2] Got to playing with V6 a bit...

Anyone else frustrated by various tools not staying on top of other windows?
The one example that comes to mind is the Effect Editor Window with not stay on top of the Timeline or Composer WIndows.
They're working hard -- all of these bugs will be fixed . . . it's just painful getting there.

Cheers,

Yes, I can work around a lot of this stuff, but I thought we as users had spent years working with Avid so that they could refine Media Composer into a incredible tool. Part of being an incredible tool is having all the controls where you want to find them, and having the feedback from the system where you need it.

This has been a fundamental feature of Composer since the Quadra 950 days - Take 100 edit systems and connect 'em up to 30 decks- you sure as shit better have real confidence of the mode you're in- or things are going to get real messy real fast.
