Mark,
Get the latest version of QTchange. There is no need to remember the TC, as
you can save it from originals.
(small .att files are saved containing the tc / reel info (reel does not
exist in Avid exports, sadly....)
If you let these travel with the transcodes, you can add tc later on if the
filename stays the same, or becomes longer.
(so, original.mov and original_transcoded_with_X_settings.mov does also
work)
And, since this is an Avid list, there always has been a function to add TC
based on an exported ALE.
(and that retains the reel of course...)
