Even the requests to effects developers for FCP-X is to keep the number of sliders and options to a minimum, right Philip? They want to keep the complexity of even the third party stuff as low as it can be and still be functional... so I've heard. That's not an indictment of FCP-X. I'm just trying to clarify the design philosophy.
