I haven't played with Sorenson 8 yet but I got confused about presets back in about ver. 6 because it looked to me like you needed to purchase Sor. 360. It turned out there were presets later in the list that didn't require 360. Could there be elements later in the preset list that you are looking for? It's been a while since I've been in the interface but perhaps there is something similar in Sor. 8 that puts presets you're familiar with in a slightly different location.
