I gather with V6 and the move to 64 bit just about every bit of code had to be worked on. A lot of very old code had to be restructured so for the 1st 64 bit version this V1
This wasn't tweaks and patches and additions it was a rewrite to drop some of the older routines and prepare for future features.
A massive undertaking and in my view a credit to avid that V6 shipped as robust as it was.
I hope and expect to see more exciting things in the future and with each point release bugs and cosmetic fixes will get sorted. Assuming they are fed back to the team in the right way.
