I agree this is very dangerous but I could see a use for it. When I'm cutting in Textless material at the Tail of a show I quite ofter find titles that spill over a cut point by a frame or so. I make a note to go back and change it later but it would be useful in that situation to be able to to view the source timeline and lift out the extra frame(s) of title. I do not see how you could edit something into the source side but a little sequence manipulation might come in handy. Of course the kind of manipulation that delete/extracts the entire sequence with no undo would not be useful to me. ;-( Mr. B you better quickly check the autosave if it goes past 100 and make sure that bug hasn't come back. That too was a killer.
