I just got it and its actually pretty fun and very easy to use. One downside is unlike iMovie for the iPad, Avid Studio looks nothing like it's parent product, Media Composer. Perhaps a little more design on the interface would at least vaguely relate it to MC, making the move up a little more comfortable. iMovie for the iPad looks like iMovie and FCPX reflects these products as well. Call it iMovePro or what you want, but it is a better branding move on Apple's part to make them all similar.
That being said, Avid Studio for iPad is a fun little product to have. Just wait, for these prices, every producer with an iPad will be in your suite showing you "his cut". God help us all!
