I have had success moving FCP 7 cuts to Media Composer with ProRes camera footage using Boris. I haven't with AD, because of the trickiness of relinking QT sources via AMA. AD transfer via AAF works if you can import the source movies (traditional import).
The hitch is multiclip. Those have always been odd-ball in FCP "legacy" as they are a special condition. For example, multiclips were always hosed in any Color roundtrip. FCP X is a completely new issue and I doubt if anyone can give you a definitive answer right now, since it was just released a few days ago.
In my testing, the new FCP X multi cam feature doesn't allow a very effective way to also cut multi-channel audio in the timeline. Might not be a problem for you if the audio edit/mix is a separate process.
If they plan on FCP X, you really need to do some testing before committing to a workflow. In any case, you'll need the Xto7 application to generate an FCP 7 sequence from the FCP X cut. Then use AD or Boris to go from FCP 7 to MC.
