First, I do like the new look for icons in the Timeline. And before I continue, I'll mention that I am wearing reading glasses (sigh) and I'm on a 17" laptop with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200.
The issue:
I'm finding it a bit difficult to discern the blue Non-RT effects dot from the Green RT dot.
I suggest that the dots be larger and the blue be darker.
It appears to me that rather than getting easier to read/see, text and icons seem to have gotten even smaller in v6. Many (many) years ago I spent a few days on DS version 2 and the icons were miniscule. Is this the trend for MC now too? Speaking of which, is anyone else having difficulty discerning and/or seeing I/O marks as well (e.g. in the TC track)? I like the new look, but wish they were chunkier so they'd be easier to see and also to tell the Ins from the Outs.
