I didn't used to work with waveforms visible, but with the improvements in redraw I have them on a lot now. The frustration now is being able to see the cut points. So I find myself toggling them on and off quite a bit (mapped to the keyboard). I'd be great to have control over color in a way other than changing the Project Sample Rate to make them turn gray.
And I'll use this post as another plea to return all the previous interface color customization abilities (and any more that can be added). Bin background defaults... Project background default... Timeline Window background default... etc., etc.... It really does matter.
