I use Marquee exclusively, as far as Avid goes, and I do multi-layered, text heavy commercials. I use it to put soft drop shadows on graphic files. I use the 3D animation. I use it to move multiple still images around. I use the styles to keep specific client looks on text. I use it to create and export 3D text animations to use on other systems. It is a little hard to learn, but it is definitely more powerful than you would expect. The biggest problem is that it hasn't changed much since I worked for Avid and showed it at NAB in 1999. I wish Avid knew what they had......ur ah have.
