sequence I made with no luck. Looked at permissions and everything looks
okay there. Even checked permissions on the project and on the bins
themselves and everything was read/write for everyone. So I took the drive
that the offliner used, one that he believed he used for the last project I
had this issue with and ran a repair on it. There was one error found and
fixed and I plugged that into my system and used his original project (on
that very drive) and still no RAID.
I also took a current sequence he's working on from a completely different
series, using completely different drives and loaded that here in my system
into a project I made that I know worked fine and got the same thing. No
RAID which is making me believe this may be an issue with HIS RAID. Both of
us should have the same common elements and b-roll on our RAIDs (exact
copies) wondering if there's something in there that is causing an issue.
When the AE last night first started prepping this he said the RAID showed.
My guess it stopped showing after he re-linked common elements. Of course
that doesn't explain his newest sequence having issues seeing how I didn't
re-link anything, it was a no go as soon as it was opened. Before opening
that bin/sequence the RAID showed.
Again, after checking all these I re-booted Avid and opened a few projects
I knew did NOT have this issue and the RAID was there and everything worked
just fine.
I guess the fun continues searching for an answer.
Thanks
Tony
