Hey Scott,

I can tell you that one reason you may have to go with the 25fps has to do with the lights... not wanting them to strobe.
We had some stuff that shot in the UK for US release, but because the lighting system was at 50Hz instead of 60Hz they needed to shoot at 25.

We rough cut at 25, conformed at 25, and then the last step was the convert to 24... (ok 1080i 59.94) and that's how it aired in the US.
