Re: [Avid-L2] Media Archiving. LTO?

If you want very simple archiving to any storage, check Parking software
from Marquis Broadcast. Now it has two versions, one for Avid sequence, one
for Avid project archiving. Easy to combine with LTO5, like the different
configurations of Infinity Archive from Global Distribution, which is a
combination of different LTO transports with Xendata management software.

Subject: [Avid-L2] Media Archiving. LTO?

Are facilities happy with their LTO workflows? I have been using a hard
drive archiving plan, but feel like a longer term solution needs to be put
into place. I was looking at the Cache-A archiving appliance, any experience
with it?
TIA
