RE: [Avid-L2] MC v6 bugs... anyone else?

Ben, when I open the title tool in a 16X9 project the top and bottom are
cropped off. Typically the bottom half of the title tool menu and the
area above broadcast safe are cropped. I have to grab the top edge of
the title tool and pull it down and the tool window kind of scrolls
within the frame and if I stop it just right I can access the bottom of
the title tool menu. The title tool is 16X9 and creates a 16X9 title.

Also after the upgrade to v6 I frequently get the following error
message: SFPlayConsumer::ExecuteTIMEOUT

I never saw that before, and some days it makes my life miserable as the
only remedy has been to reboot. The only reference from Avid that I
found was a possible problem with Nitris systems and anti-virus
software.

Just signed up for a new support contract with Avid and these will be my
first two queries.

Hi gang,

Is anyone else experiencing any of the following:

1.

Bin Layouts not remaining linked with Workspaces after restart?

Mine just disappears from the Properties window.

2.

Unreadable text display when trimming with the numeric keypad (and
sometimes the monitor lights strobing):

http://youtu.be/XCyGUIVg2tg <http://youtu.be/XCyGUIVg2tg>

3.

In a 16:9 project (1080i, 59.94, 1920x1080).

Open the Title Tool and its window is 4:3 (rather than 16:9) and the
Broadcast Safe and Title Safe grid is cut off on the left and right.

The title created, however, is 16:9.

Cheers,

B
