[Avid-L2] Re: wacom tablet windows 7

Anyone seeing issues with wacom drivers causing Avid FX not to run. It will not launch or freeze in the Avid, when the wacom is unplugged from the system. Avid FX is fine as long as the tablet is present, but remove it and leave the drivers on, and it fails. I had this issue years ago and the workaround was to use really old drivers and show the tablet to the system and then unplug it and it would be stable.

But not with a New wacom Bamboo and version 6 MC and Win7, I have the same failure when the tablet is removed, the workaround is working until you restart the computer. Why can't Avid FX and wacom just get along?
