Greg I'm not sure of the Protools chase setup but with my trusty and now dusty in my trunk "Home Made With Love" VTR emulation cable I was able to control an Avid mcsoft 3.1x to another similar system and I was even able to get a sony DVW-500A digibeta to control an Avid as it's player. If that worked wouldn't Protools be able to drag the Avid along like it was a deck too?
