Fam mode is the 'hide ProAV folder' in the setup panel of the driver / app.
You want that option ON (thus, hide the proAV).

I don't think you can do that anymore in 5.5 / 6.0, since a clip will have
either a Tape Name OR a File Name, never both. Unless I'm missing something
there.
