Thx all.
I will do a small test as soon as I get the first disks, and try to work with the native footage first. However, I'm still leaning to a DNx workflow.
> -i'm with Greg on staying native, moreso by knowing there is a chance of an XDCAM delivery. It saves time and space, also it preserves 100% original quality. Recompression is never a good thing, and in your case it might be needed twice(you'll need to find out the exact delivery specs).
Thing is, there's going to be external color correction, and they need me to supply them with DNxHD QT. So staying native all-the-way is not an option anyway.
In-between Same-As-Source (or QT Ref) exports are pretty important to me, as I probably need to send off some Greek segments for temporary subtitling, and possibly some H264 previews for the show's producers. Export to Device is not useful for that, I'm afraid.
Since I won't CC in Symphony, 185 would be wiser than 185x, IMO. The CC house can color correct in 10-bit if they like.
Many thanks for the feedback to all!
