If you consolidate the AMA clips and export a Qt ref, or export a self
contained Qt, you don't need the Calibrated codec, the avid codec will kick
in.
Not sure if RGB is the way to go, but run some tests and you'll know.

Subject: [Avid-L2] Re: XDCAM Codec q
Sonic that comes with Symphony. We had a Calibrated Q codec installed that
was a trial a while back and AMA came in fine but sending the sequence to
DVD authoring displayed the Calibrated Q watermark in Sonic. We've
uninstalled the Calibrated Q trial and, as expected, it won't create the QT
Reference that we usually use when sending to Sonic. On a slightly off
topic, is there a better setting to use when sending an Avid sequence to DVD
Authoring (Sonic) from Avid? We usually use the Quicktime Reference setting
set to RGB and that has always worked great. Maybe something else I haven't
tried is even better?
Thanks,
KEN
