That depends upon your workflow. If you are in a time sensitive, in other
words one where you can't lose time to the painful process of backreving,
then it is a good idea to follow the two golden rules…
1: Though shalt never upgrade in the middle of a project.
2: Though shalt never depend upon a new software release in a mission
critical universe.
Most of our Avids are episodic promo machines so the project rarely ends
and everything is usually down to the wire.
I keep a good library of disk images for the possible catastrophe but I'm
thinking I may push back against upgrading right now.
