I don't believe so. Its a 1080p 23.976 project.
I did however install a Blackmagic Intensity Pro card so that I could use a plasma screen to monitor with. Could this have an effect on the Avid settings?

Sounds like you're in a 444 project and perhaps those are the only supported resolutions. Are you working in a 444 project by mistake or design?
