Re: [Avid-L2] Re: does Compressor 3.0 export in Apple ProRes 422 Proxy ??

Hi Dennis,

I have 3.5.3 as well but that should not be the real issue. If it's not there as a pre-built setting,

1) right-click a pre-built Quicktime Setting
2) Choose Duplicate and observe the duplicate setting created in the Custom folder with the name copy appended to it
3) select the setting and observe its properties in the inspector
4) hit the second button from the left under the description
5) click the Video Settings... button to open the Standard Video Compression Settings window
6) Select Apple ProRes 422 (proxy) from the drop-down list - list has all available codecs on system - I believe that I have over 50 available

Hope this helps,

Paul Sulsky

I offer:

David says he has v3.0. It's possible that ProRes422 Proxy wasn't
available when v3.0 came out, so he probably won't find it in the QT
folder. I have v3.5.3 and Proxy is in that version of Compressor.
