Re: [Avid-L2] 5.5.3 - Exporting Locators causes INVALID_FILE_NAME error

Hi Doug:

This is due to your clip or sequence having more than 27 characters.

Unlike other export dialogues, you don't get a truncated version of the
filename in the 'save as' window when you try to export locators with a
long filename, you just get an "Exception: INVALID_FILE_NAME" error,
without ever getting to the 'save as' window. Clearly a bug.

I've seen this on 5.0.x and 5.5.3, haven't upgraded to 6.0 yet, so dunno
if it's been fixed.

Cheers,
