[Avid-L2] Re: V6

 

Keep in mind if you use sapphire it is $849.00 to upgrade V3 to V6 to work in 64bit. BCC also had a half price deal till the end of the year for $299.00. Any other plugins you use will need to be upgraded to 64 bit. There may also be concerns with sans compatibility with lion that I've read about. Also Pan and Zoom is incompatible with previous versions so that can be a problem. Other than the benifits of 64 bit I don't see much in the way of improved functionality. I am going to do my best to make the artist color panel work but everyday stuff in an offline/online workflow I'd wait for a bit more shakedown especially the PAN AND ZOOM.
